Phoenix Pride Parade 2011

NOW loves a parade, especially when we are joining our sisters and brothers in celebrating the human family in all its loving diversity and creativity.

For the second year of NOW’s participation in the Phoenix Pride Parade, Dianne Barker danced in the street and our float did NOT win a prize.  However, our eclectic display of NOW issues encircling our float won the appreciation and cheers of parade participants and spectators.

Hurrahs to our newly elected NOW State President Karen VanHooft, Dianne Barker, Nicole Deopere, Cindy Guerra, Karen Kondej, and Olga Tsoudis for enduring the heat and making the 2011 Phoenix Pride Parade a joyous celebration.
